Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan add the butter (70g) apples and cinnamon. Let them cook on medium heat until the apples have softened.
  2. Remove the apples and add them to a liquidiser, blitz until a thick liquid is formed. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line with baking paper.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, sweetener, coconut flour, and salt. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla until the dough begins to form.
  5. Press a little over half of the dough into the prepared baking pan and bake 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool 10-15 minutes.
  6. Pour the blitz apple over the crust and spread around the edges. Then take the remaining crust and crumble it over the filling, pressing lightly.
  7. Bake another 20-25 minutes, until the topping is golden brown. Remove and let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
